Where Imagination is Education   The Magik Theatre was created as a voice for young people and families throughout the region. It began in 1994 as an offshoot of The Commerce Street Stage, a professional theatre for both adults and youth. About a year after the Commerce Street Stage began, I decided the city needed a full time professional theatre for youth and their families. This was what we were meant to be, and so, the Magik Theatre was born.
