Here are our top 4 family activities for the week. Check it out!
Thanks for joining us for the Incredible Kids at Home top 4 family activities for the week!
#1 Make a time capsule. A time capsule is a container that holds present-day items, such as photos, newspapers, letters, and more. It's typically hidden away to open in the future. Have a family member hide the box so you aren't tempted to open it. Want to hide it for a year? Five? Ten? There's no time limit! The rules are up to you; just don't forget about it!
#2 Teaching a child to cook is an investment that requires some time and patience on your part, but it can pay off in a multitude of ways. It teaches them self-sufficiency and a skill necessary to live. Children who learn to cook can prepare snacks and meals for themselves, and quickly become less reliant on mom and dad.
#3 Treasure hunts are fun, interactive, and creative, and you can tailor them for kids of all ages. Create or print out clues, then hide them so that one clue leads to another. Place some "treasure" such as a toy or treat at the final hiding spot. Hand the first clue to your child, and let the fun begin!
#4 Make a noodle necklace. All you need is yarn or string, dried pasta noodles, and food coloring (optional). Instead of pasta, you could also use beads that you have lying around. For detailed instructions on how to color pasta noodles, click the button below.
